PROJECT GOAL: Bring Hollard, as the headline sponsor, to life on the Juma/Jura route and provide hospitality for VIPs.
The Juma/Jura is an urban run/MTB ride through the city of Jo’burg. It’s tough and gritty and brings to the life the essence of what it is to live in Jozi. As a city-savvy insurer, Hollard wanted to lift the spirits of not only their VIP guests, but all the participants through unique urban entertainment on the route and at the venue.
Graffiti, parkour and trick biking excited and entertained, and VIPs enjoyed gifts and the exclusive use of shower facilities with Hollard branded amenities.
A huge screen gave spectators insight into what goes on in the tunnels and alleyways of the city where their loved ones were running and riding. Music and purple floodlights, as well as drummers and cheerleaders, created pops of energy along this very challenging route.
